Picasa 2: Google Updates Free Digital Photo Software
Google, Inc. has just released Picasa 2, a new version of the free digital photo software it acquired last summer. New features in this version include CD burning for backups and gifts, new editing features and basic fixes, labels for organizing and stars for rating photos, the ability to add captions that are written to your files, and improved printing options. I probably won't be updating my review of Picasa right away, but Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Watch has a pretty detailed article comparing Picasa 2 and Photoshop Album 2: Google Picasa 2 Vs.
